OUR WORK: NIKE ETIQUETTE BOOK FOR LONDON OLYMPICS
we were inspired by 1950’s style etiquette books for our london olympics nike collaboration. used for the press and athletes attending the ceremonies, our book features models including yuri pleskun and hannah holman, captured by photographer max farago and creatively directed by ucef hanjani. sustaining a heroic and inspirational tone, the book’s succinct language contains a subtle mockery of the old-fashioned instructional etiquette books, the likes of which could be found at any proper london bookseller. this time around, it was about how to look legitimate, including illustrations that showcase ways to tie a nike trainer, or to roll the sleeves of a blazer. the glossary at the end provides technical descriptions to inform athletes on the latest innovations that nike employs. start taking notes.
