this film was created as part of the krug champagne communication effort and intended for use on the le cabinet de curiosités website (also designed by ceft and company), an exclusive community site intended to create discussion and dialogue between connoisseurs and krug lovers worldwide.
photographed at milk studios in los angeles with photographer fredrik reshew, the advertising campaign for fusion’s illumifill & lipfusion featured socialite kim kardashian. noticeably, without her now husband kanye west.
during the creation of the nike dance event, featuring choreographer jamie king (who has been working with madonna since 1996), ceft and company used the set they had designed at the DIA art center in new york to stage an editorial shoot for doing bird magazine. the story featured model inguna butane, a dancer herself, wearing nike’s new dance gear mixed with vintage designer dresses. this was an unexpected and smart way to introduce nike’s new line of dance wear to opinion leaders across the world.
