
directed by ellen von unwerth and created by ceft and company, model coco rocha charms us once again in “the heart of workwear”. in the spot, she’s showing off a new set of moves while dancing the day away between her preoccupied coworkers. the spot bookends the series of the “workkit” commercials, beginning with “a musical odyssey” and followed by “alter ego“, with a message that suggests: workwear can be dull but it doesn’t have to be.

this series was the first set of nike sponsored shoots with photographer terry richardson. the effort was targeted specifically towards opinion leaders and the fashion elite; those who appreciate innovative designs that first and foremost are functional, but also happen to be current and chic. the focus was to create visuals that were appropriate for the market, yet filled with the energy that embodies the nike brand.
for their “be free” campaign, nike engaged ceft and company and veteran french art photographer denis darzacq to create a series of magical and enigmatic images. the idea for the concept sparked from the apparel and the amazing technologies incorporated in the designs. read more
